MISSION & MAIN ACTIVITIES :
As part of the BU MENS (Project Structuring, Operations, and Mobility Services), Egis Road Operation (ERO) is a worldwide independent motorway operator and a long-term partner of motorway owners and concessionaires. ERO is part of the infrastructure and services development business unit within Egis Group.
In addition to its robust processes of developing, starting and running motorway operation projects, ERO is also developing a set of innovative initiatives, mainly in the fields of digitalization and energy management, to support and transform its existing operations and to contribute to its differentiating approach as operator on new projects.
In this context, ERO is seeking an Equipment, Operations & Maintenance Tender and Innovation Executive (M/F) who will on the one hand participate to the production of responses to tenders and on the other hand take a central role in the development and implementation of innovative initiatives.
The EO&M Tender and Innovation Executive will be working under the responsibility of ERO’s Tender Director. His/her key responsibilities include:Analyzing the upcoming tenders and associated market to understand operational dynamics, value creation and expectations from ERO’s clients and partners In respect of tenders: Defining, proposing and elaborating technical and organizational solutions as response to tenders (operational concepts, human, financial and technical resources) and preparing the associated contractual terms, insurance packages, financial models, project briefs, etc. Under the supervision of the Tender Manager, coordinating with projects team members, including the commercial teams of the Business Unit, the technical experts of ERO, the legal department Participating to and possibly leading discussions and working sessions with ERO’s partners, and participating to negotiations with clients In respect of innovation: Taking an active part in the monitoring of innovative initiatives in the field of road EO&M and identifying solutions and technology partners with whom innovative solutions / products could be created Interfacing with ERO’s Operation and Maintenance companies in order to understand some of their unmet needs Contributing to the definition of ERO’s approach and creation of innovative solutions Participating to the definition and implementation of pilots and proofs of concepts (POCs) in order to trial these solutions in a real word environment, and deploying the solutions on ERO’s projects
In addition to the above key responsibilities, the EO&M Tender and Innovation Executive will also be fulfilling the following tasks :Contributing to knowledge management within Egis, by sharing his/her experience in relevant internal forums Liaising with Egis Projects’ other Strategic Areas and with the innovation network within Egis Group and fostering mutual cooperation
As all Egis employees, the position’s holder is responsible towards compliance with the Human Resources Management Code, the Code of Ethics and the Code of Integrity of Egis group. He / she is also responsible towards compliance with internal rules, all local regulations and Health & Safety rules that apply in for the BU MENS activities.
QUALIFICATIONS :Qualifications in Engineering or Business/Commercial, with a first significant experience If engineering background, prior exposure to innovation/business development situations is required If business/commercial background, prior exposure to technology companies or operational environments is required Ideally, additional qualification in innovation management or product generation
SKILLS REQUIRED :Reasonable command of or ability to understand technical and operational environments Ability for ‘out of the box’ and lateral thinking Ability to develop business plans and business models Demonstrable high level of agility and autonomy to ensure success in a small, flexible and result driven unit Solution oriented person, with good client/partner facing capabilities Ability to work under pressure and within defined time lines, both as a team member and independently Strong business acumen and bottom line focus Excellent team worker High level, professional oral & written presentation skills Intercultural management capabilities Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Spanish would be a strong asset
